But anyways, later on, my uncle bet me two dollars that I couldn't guess who sang a song. Well Dalton whispered it in my ear and I told him and he gave me the two dollars. Dalton laughed and told me that I owed him half so I gave him a dollar. Then, he tried to give it back but I wouldn't take it. When we all went back inside, my phone went off so I went to it. As I looked at my phone, I glanced up and seen him looking me up and down. I quickly looked away an went on. Then we played truth or dare and was asked if I had ever kissd a boy, and when I said no, he just kept bringing it up thoughout the night, asking me how old I was and how come I had never been kissed. Well he also kept throwing stuff at me jokingly and stuff. I really thought that he was flirting with me and of course, I was flirting back. Well after a while, all of his attention went to my older siser. She ha always been the oe that all the boys flocked to. everyone worships her at her feet. I don't understand. What was going through his mind and why the sudden change??? Thanks!!!

I'm thinking if Dalton is older or same age as sister- then one, he feels its more appropriate to be attracted to your sister and well, sometimes it happens.
Sucks but it has for me in High School. I was one of those late bloomers or more I didnt do my make up, minimalist and the guys prefered my Friend that wore tonnes of the stuff. High Maintenanced. They were drawn to her even though she constantly verbally abused them.
Now, the men prefer me over her as I am kind, friendly, goofy and I help them feel better about themselves. Also I have found make up tricks. *shrugs*
It makes no sense but its how it is for young men. Not all, just Dalton seems to be one of them.
I'd still show interest or at least put out there that you will be waiting for that kiss for New Years.
Time will tell who he knows he should show the interest to.
