writes:Okay, why is this guy acting so weird?Whenever I'm around this particular boy, he kind of avoids me. I never did anything to him! I'm the type of girl who says Hi to everyone.. and if I see you, I will say hi. The first time I spoke to him was the first day of school and everyone was going up to each other and saying hi. I noticed that when he did talk to me, he would avoid eye contact. So I figured he's shy. But later on, he came up to me and said Hi and we would chat. Then last week I was at the bar, dancing with a guy friend and my best friend told me the shy guy was looking the whole time.Today, I was in the elevator in school and he was in it (along with 4 other people) and I said hi and he didn't look up to say hi back. I saw he was talking to a friend. I felt like an idiot saying hi. But then he looked up and I said hi again. I know he heard me the first time! I feel like he avoids me.Why is he acting so strange?

He probably fancies you but is crippled with shyness. It's not like he does anything nasty. But every time you go near him, he freezes like a startled deer! I think he fancies you.
