Exams make it worse because you have alot more stress. I am no doctor but it sounds like to me your just stessed and should see someone about getting help on how to deal with it and you will feel so much better.

Hun, not only are you suffering from sever stress, but you are DEFFINITLY haveing signs of depression. Depression can come in many shapes and forms, but common to all of them is an inability to sleep or feeling like sleeping all the time, or combination to both. Also common is feeling like you can't move, as if your whole body is being held down and you have no energy for anything. Common is also not takeing care of oneself, like not brushing your hair or teeth, not getting dressed or showerd, and either hardly eating or eating a lot or eating huge meals only once a day, etc. Have you noticed any of your hair falling out...? like handfulls when you brush or hair or wash? I ask this because this is ussualy a sign of stress... as well as perhaps being on eadge all the time. However i am 100% sure that you are suffering from depression..... i have had it for years now (though the last several have been very mild) and i know many people with depression, etc. Please don't be scared at this "labal" for it does not mean you are crazy, or going crazy. Depression is caused by an imbalance of chemicals in the brain, which is why meds can help (though it might take awhile to get on the right medication). You need to talk to a counslor *and it could take several trys before you find somone you are comfertable with and like, etc). Please. They can help you understand all of this and go over things you can do to start feeling better (besides meds of course), and maybe even help with your orginiazing classwork so its easier to manage. You have probably becaome more secluded from friends lately, but now is the time when you could ask them for help. Ask them to go with you to a couslor (drive u there, sit in the waiting room, or at the very least help u get motivated to go!). Also, please talk to your parents, for they may beable to help you as well (in most cases predisposition for depression seems to be a type of passed down trait so one of your parents, and diffrent other family members have most likely also sufferd from depression at osme point in their life even if they had never gotten help for it). They might freak out, they might not understand, but if your parents love and care about you they will help support you in this difficult time.
please, please, PLEASE see someone and talk to soem people about this. Before it gets worse (and there is worse.... ) get some outside help.
hugs and cheers
