Why is it so uncomfortable and what should I know to make intimacy better?

I've been with my boyfriend for a few weeks now, the first time we had sex was before we were together (only by a few days) and i didn't think it felt that amazing, but didn't think nothing of it. I had sex with him last week, and we did a couple of positions and it just felt like I needed to pee and uncomfortable, and yes i went to the bathroom beforehand! Before him, I've only had sex 2 times before. It's not painful, but I just cant wait for him to stop as soon as he starts.
