 have you ever told him you like him? if not then maybe that is why your feeling like this. I am in the same situation right now. Lads are useless at communicating and when they dont know that they are upsetting someone they are absolutely oblivious to that persons feelings. if you have told him then he is definately stringing you along.

 Does he know you like him? Some boys are not aware of your feelings.Most boys will say that as they don't want to hurt your feelings.
It is only your perceptions of a perfect pair. He may not share your perceptions.
His has chosen her but it is not final.It will depend on you, whether you want to fight for the number 1 spot in his heart or you throw in the towel.

People can think you're really gud looking but not feel 'that way' for you. i think you need to move on and find someone who does like you more then a friend and also thinks you're pretty. good luck xx

 my heart goes out to you, it isn't fair what this guy is doing at all!but by what it sounds you have to face teh truth whether you like it or not, this guy sounds like he is looking for constant attention and your giving it to him. It doesn't sound like he will be able to commit to a serious relationship anyway with his attitude. I no everyone must say this and its hard to believe but their really is plenty more fish in the sea and you will find a perfect guy for you someday but maybe you have to consider that this guy isn't the onebest of luck :)ask phoebe
