Why is he constantly cheating on me... his wife?

Question - (19 October 2008) 1 Answers - (Newest, 19 October 2008)
A male United States age 41-50, *lesly writes:

I have been married for 3 years now, we married because we got pregnant, I was 6 months when we married, he works out of town and comes home every other weekend.

One month after we married the cheating started, I was so scared to be by myself I stayed. He would tell me he wouldn't do it but he didn't stop, it ruined our marriage the trust was gone completely

When our son was born it gave me hope that he would stop and every thing would be ok and we would have our happy family, he didn't stop - this happens every 6 to maybe 9 months then he does it again.

I want to believe what he is telling me but I can't and being away from home is already hard on our marriage. Am I stupid for staying around? Why can't I leave him? Why am I still around, I'm not a bad looking girl, I'm very attractive, I'm almost too attractive to be with him as he has gained a lot of weight at least 100lbs and I'm pretty petite and cute. Why does he do this to me if he will never be able to get anyone better.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (19 October 2008):

Honey - this guy does not deserve you. You will always be wondering what he is up to. He has gotton away with it so many times, promising he will change, he knows you forgive him everytime and this is why he continues. He has no respect for you and your trust has. If was was just 'once' and he was truly sorry then maybe, but history keeps repeating itself and will continue to do so. As hard as it will be at first, in the long run, you will so much happier with some-one who doesnt make you feel this this. Why stay in an unhappy marriage, he's just not worth it. Put yourself first for once and lose the loser. Dont stay with him just for your childs sake - this guys a jerk.

Good luck xx
