writes:There's a guy who works at the local gas station I frequent after my job (2nd shift). He's always really nice and chatty. Once, he told me that I am "soooo pretty". Another time, that I am the "prettiest thing", and another time told a customer that he is going to marry me one day, if I ever decide to leave my husband. I told him that I'm not married. My question is....Why hasn't he asked me out if he's actually interested? He seems sincere and like a great person but could he just be joking? I even went to the gas station late one night when very few customers were there. I was hoping that he would suggest that we meet up at IHOP or something when he gets off work, but he didnt. He's either shy, or he thinks you're not interested. I think maybe you need to take the initiative on this one and ask him out if you like him. I think he's confused, or too shy. Try speaking to him and see what he says. If there are very few customers there when you speak to him, then ask him out.
