I said I'm good thanks, you? He said yeah, how've you been? I said that's the same question, he said no its a different question, I said they're very similar..Anyway, i guess that answered your questions, I'm gladd you're okay. He said yeah, me too :s Note that, I replied 2 hours at a time and he replied within the same minute I did, he seemed very eager unless he was just bored, still a bit weird though. I was finally getting over him and I know I sounded so happy over the phone, which I was. Also it was two days before his birthday...he hasn't contacted me since but he has tried persistantly about 2 months ago. He was very horrible to me after the break up and I dont know why he's trying to contact me now...we broke up 5 months ago. Today is his birthday, I haven't said anything. My friends say he misses me. He did say he missed me the last time he contacted me... What do you guys make of this? My arguement is, if he does want to talk or he misses me. He can say so and stop leaving me with a cliffhanger.

Well it seems that he wants to talk to you so that would suggest missing you or just wanting you back in his life in some capacity whether it be a friend or girlfriend. If he thought nothing of you or didn't miss you at all then he wouldn't text asking how you are, you would've been forgotten. As for why he doesn't admit it, it's a pride and ego thing. If you seem happy without him then he wouldn't admit to missing you it would be embarrassing for him. But if you truly are happier without him around I'd advise to keep conversations short or not answer at all, he will get the hint and leave you alone.
