reader, anonymous, writes (1 March 2017): She may have hidden it for two reasons: a) she was afraid you'd assume she was cheating while you were away and she didn't want the confrontation, or b) she may have thought she was being polite: I would "hide" pads/tampons wrapped up neatly in the trash or the unused ones in a drawer or somewhere. Maybe she figured you didn't want to see it. I don't think she cheated.

 She probably wanted to feel extra FRESH for you. And she didn't WANT you to know because she wants you to think she ALWAYS is that "fresh".
When, why and where she douches is really none of your business. That is HER personal hygiene choice.
It has nothing to do with cheating or sleeping around.
Compare it to someone who likes to BRUSH their teeth before kissing someone. They want to smell and taste good. So her douching was her way of making sure she smelled and tasted good JUST for you.
