Why don't people realise how wrong and illusive is their supposed sudden love for a past sweetheart?

A female age 51-59, anonymous writes:

What's with that epidemic, of ''hooking up with old lover"" on computer. Why people can't see, how wrong is that? It's a trap, you feel unhappy in your marriage, so you look up, your high-school sweet-heart on line, and you think you are in love again. As it makes you think you are 20 again. I can't understand why nobody can see ,that is this just a game? What do you think , how long it will take, before you realize, that , is an illusion?

eyeswideopen agony auntThe Internet certainly makes it easier to find those lost loves, so I'm sure there are more people doing just that but whether it's an epidemic I couldn't say. Most of the time I'd guess it's just idle curiosity, but tell me, did this happen to you?
