I vowed that I would never date a smoker. I'm not sure what really gets me about it, but I just have never liked the idea of smoking. However, I'm okay with like drinking and I even drink myself. He knows that I don't like him smoking. I kind of wish that he didn't altogether. I have no specific reasoning for it, I just don't like the idea. Therefore, I have no real reason to be so selfish and ask him to stop. But everytime he smokes, I just don't feel good about it. Am I just being extremely selfish? We've talked about his smoking and we've come to the fact that he will never smoke around me and he will tell me if he is going to be smoking especially if we're texting or talking on the phone when he's high.

Because you dont smoke!!! if you dont like it, tell him to quit or break up with him, I smoke, if I met someone, and they werent cool with it at all, Id quit, if I had to , id go buy the gum, or patches, but, I basically started smoking, so I wouldnt chew anymore, I cant stand smoking, I plan to quit anyway here in the next month, maybe I'll quit right this second?
