writes:please forgive me for asking but im really upset and need advice. my best friend is friends at work with a guy who doesnt like me. why ? because he works with another woman who is very bitchy and doesnt like me and he has been listening to her and has never acknowledged me. even before that i have always found him curt and abrupt and lazy yet everyone else including my friend think hes the best thing on earth so am i a freak ? what is it im seeing that noone else can. its really upsetting me because my best friend and i get on really well but the fact she likes this guy to talk to bothers mei dont know why. i feel inferior because i am a nice person i work hard but for some reason this guy thinks im scum. not that i would want to be friends with him now after what hes done but the fact everyone else likes him makes me feel inferior. why am i the only one seeing what i think hes like ? am i horrible ?please help

You're not horrible at all. Sometimes in life, you find people you don't get along with. This is just one of those guys. I think the reason he doesn't like you is because you're the only person who can see that he's a loser and you're not kissing his ass all the time like everyone else. Stop being so harsh on yourself. You're probably the best placed woman in your workplace. You know he's a prat! The others don't, so he goes to them to get his ego stroked. Don't have hassle like this in your life. Rise above it. You don't want to let one guy get your down so much. He's not worth it.
