We've only been dating 6 months and she's only 14 and I'm only 16 but I just don't know what happened. We just got through a little bit of a rough patch and I told her I can wait until she's ready to tell me she loves me but I still want to know why she won't tell me she loves me. I tell her I love her all the time and she says nothing. It's like she just ignores it. What should I do? Reply to this Question Share |

hi there
The thing is with saying 'i love you' is that if you say it all the time it becomes meaningless. When you truly do love someone there is no need to say it all the time, as your partner knows you love her, though of course still say it sometimes, and when you do, she will know its real.
Just remember actions ALWAYS speak louder than words. If she shows love, then thats better than the words.
Hope it all works out

She probably doesn't say it because she assumes that you already know and saying to her you'll wait until she's ready to tell you she loves you gives the impression that it's her obligation and duty to tell you she loves you which literally rips the meaning from the word love. She might not say it but maybe she's tryna show it.
So, in a nutshell, what you should do is stop worry about her saying she loves you because she does.
