writes:Me and my friend who is a boy talk but when I text him and he texts me its only for a short while then he doesn't.I hate asking him questions and him not answering. People tell me that he's not right for me but I like him and have strong feelings for him. What should I do?Every time he doesn't talk to me I think about him and wonder why he would do this. It hurts me a lot when he doesn't answer and he apologizes sometimes. I just have a feeling that me and him will never be a couple. Even though we both like each other. He's there for me and everything but he is a jerk sometimes. Some people are trying to get us together but others want me to stay away. I don't know what to do? I'm sure he knows that I like him but he's to shy to ask me out. I'm the closest friend he has. Maybe I'm getting to close. I should not talk to him or maybe back off for a while but I can't.

 It partly depends on how much you text him. A couple of times a day is fine, but if you're sending 5, 10 or more each day and expecting quick responses then you're asking too much. And what's more you may end up irritating him by 'spamming' him with texts.

 Maybe he is just busy and doesn't have his phone with him at the time. Personally I would say he isn't right for you though, if he was really into you then he would make sure that he had his phone with him! X
