writes:Hello,My girlfriend of two years has always brought up her ex boyfriend even since we started talking, she says she mentions him alot is because she wants to show me how unhappy she was while with him and how happy she is now, and to be honest she does only mention the bad times she had with him and never has said anything good about him, but still every time i hear his name i feel a little more like shes not over him.To add to this, i came over to her house one night and she was in the middle of a photo album she has and i never saw it before and i sat down and looked at a few pictures and after a few pages of pictures there was one of her and her ex at christmas time a few years ago and they had their arms around each other and then there was one of just him smiling. Then after she was done she quickly flipped through to the beginning to close it up and i noticed a few of her other ex-boyfriend of pictures when they were at dinner with family.Am i wrong to be very upset about this, after my break ups i threw everything away that reminded me of them, i wanted to move forward, why would she keep pictures of her and her ex together and a random pictue of her ex, its not like she found them randomly on the floor, they were put in a organized binder.Please help!thank you.

reader, anonymous, writes (11 March 2009): Its not stuped to be mad or pissed or whatever. Me for example does the same. When i want my bf to kno how much i like him i compare him to my ex i dnt like at all. I still have photos of my ex all organised not coz i still love him or want him back or anything. Just coz he used to be a part of my life and i want to keep all my memorys. I hope this helps.
