writes:Why does one of my best friends flirt with loads of boys? There is one boy who she goes out with, but she says she doesnt like him, his friend likes me but whenever he isnt around she flirts with him. The other day we had been round at a friends house and it got late and dark so he said he would walk us home (the one who likes me) we went to walk my friend down her street first but then she suggested they walk me home and then he walked her home just to come back down my street to go to his house. Then when it came to leaving her at the corner of her street she didnt want us to go, she wanted us to walk her right to her front door. She also flirts with other boys who like me, also my other friends have said she does the same with them. Is there any reason she does this?

Rebeccaa is verified as being by the original poster of the question Thankyou. She deffinitly knows she is flirting, she didnt like it when i only walked her half of the way home even though i was late home, and claimed she had an asthma attack and had to ring her dad to come get her however when i left her, her battery was dead. Also my other friend has told me that she got jelous because the boy who likes me walked her home one night and not her.

She either doesn't realise she's doing it. Or she likes the attention. I used to have a friend who was just like her. She ended up annoying me so much with her flirting (she was one who wanted attention). She is now one of the girls around town that ALL the boys "know"

 Some people just have a naturally flirty personality. She probably doesn't even realise she is doing it, she probably just thinks that she is being friendly. If it is bothering you and you really like this guy well then talk to her and tell her how you feel.
