It always comes 1 to 3 weeks late and i do get worried about it, for example last month i got it on the 14th july and the months before i got it on the 9th june and for this month i didnt get it yet.and sometimes i never get it at all.i been having with my bf unprotected sex over a year and i never got pregnant as we are already ready for kids. but how comes my period is never comes on time.

 Go and see a doctor. Some people do just have irregular periods and usually it isn't anything to worry about but 1. it's best to make sure that there are aren't any underlying problems and 2. He/she will be able to give you some advise on what you could try to become pregnant.
If you weren't trying to get pregnant I would say start on the pill as it usually makes periods more regular, but maybe that's something you can think about after you've had your first child.
I agree with jmc, you probably haven't become pregnant yet because you're not ovulating regularly. Here are some tips that can help to get pregnant:
1. Doggy and Missionary are the best positions for the guy to ejaculate in when trying to get pregnant as he will be closer to the cervix, that way the sperm don't have to travel so far.
2. Put a pillow under your bum after he has finish, this will raise your hips which will also help the sperm get to your cervix faster.

reader, anonymous, writes (26 August 2010): Some people just don't have regular cycles. I personally understand your frustration with this. And with irregular cycles comes difficulty getting pregnant because you don't ovulate regularly (which is why you haven't become pregnant yet, probably).
If you've been having unprotected sex for more than a year now and are trying to get pregnant, I recommend visiting your gynecologist. A doctor is much more qualified to diagnose and/or treat your irregularity.
