reader, anonymous, writes (17 November 2012): This is verified as being by the original poster of the questionI have tried asking her why she does it and the only response i get off of her is that she 'wants to'. Other than my phone she has been through my facebook messages whilst looking through my phone and i dont have twitter anyway.

 One of the key factors that bind a relationship together is trust, if there is no trust in a relationship then its sure to fail at some point, and she clearly does not trust you.
Whats her reasons for going through your phone, have you given her any reason to mis-trust you?. She is obviously quite insecure, i think you need to talk to her about this and tell her its got to stop. There is nothing dodgy going on, and there is no reason for her to think there is.

She's either very insecure or extremely nosey.Does she say anything to you as to why she does it or make a comment afterwards?
I would just ask her why she does it and tell her you would prefer her not to.She either learns to trust you or she doesn't date you... Does she check your Facebook or Twitter too?
