A male age 30-35, anonymous writes:

My girlfriend and I like to have sex but sometimes during sex she gets the feeling like she has to pee. She usually tries to hold it back because she doesnt know if its just the "feeling" of peeing. Sometimes she gets numb and tingly when we've done it for a long time and she doesnt know what this "peeing" feeling is or what she should do. Thanks.

I forgot to mention this

It might be you pressing her bladder.

Remember, when you are on top, you must support your weight with your hands and knees. Don't lay on her belly.

Also, if you have a curvy penis that points upwards, it will rub her urethra and bladder with every stroke. As I said, try different positions and angles, and see how she feels.

Hugh.J agony auntI agree with "DoubleM", as usual, but may I add that the urinary tract closure also applies to women. It's nature's way of ensuring that the sperm are not contaminated, because of course nature wants offspring!

Yes, pee first, but that won't necessarily stop the sensation of needing to pee, OP, because your urethral sponge, behind your g-spot, is filling with female ejaculate. It will be clear, not yellow, and definitely will NOT contain urine.

OP, enjoy it and let go when you are about to orgasm, and take precautions to deal with the wetness; i.e. don't do it on your best bed linen!

A male reader, DoubleM United States +, writes (23 February 2012):

DoubleM agony auntAccording to many women, especially those exposed to sexual activity at a young age, this feeling is common. It indicates an impending orgasm, but when a young woman resists the feeling over concern that she may pee, the resistance may or usually obstructs the orgasm.

One way to alleviate the concern, and therefore possibly allow her to relax and experience an orgasm, is for her to urinate and empty the bladder just prior to sexual intercourse. Perhaps one or more of the female advisors will confirm that this urge to urinate is common to young women prior to orgasm.

As a man, I also recall that my first few experiences with intercourse seemed somewhat like a need to urinate just prior to ejaculation, but soon learned that it was really a normal sensation. But with men, a sphincter muscle contracts to shutoff any possibility of urine flow prior a to climax.

In conclusion, she should pee prior to sex so she doesn't worry about it, but I hope you are taking measures to prevent possible pregnancy in unmarried relationship. America already has far too many children born out of wedlock!

A male reader, anonymous, writes (23 February 2012):

Might be her G-spot. Some girls feel like they have to pee while their G-spot is stimulated (it's very close to their urethra)

Try different positions and see if she gets the same feeling or not.

The only way to find out if it's really pee, is for her to let go and see what happens. (Most probably nothing will happen. As I said, it's her G-spot not her bladder that gives her the feeling). Should anything happen, be supportive and don't let her feel embarrassed.

Sooner or later, she has to learn her body. And it would be nice if her lover helped her explore herself.
