Why does my friend get made fun of at school?

At school my friend gets make fun of for no reason. For example they look at her and just laugh really loud or smile. She didn't do anything wrong. Why is this happening? I don't know why?

Because people are stupid. Stand up to them, ask them. Most people back down when they think you might take them on.

They are likely picking on her cuz they feel she wont do anything in return. Like stick up for herself. The second she shows self confidence those girls will back off. Or they might get worse, if they do its only cuz theyre jealous. My advice is show them youre confident and keep it up (even if u gotta fake it) and they will find another "victim". Hope this helps.
