Girls are naturally possessive even of their guy friends and perhaps you are a little too preoccupied with your gf and don't get enough hang time with your best friend and perhaps that is why she is jealous?
Perhaps your best friend might also like you more than she is letting on.

thats tough man. well here what i think. if you don't date a lot then shes used to you always being by her side not another girls. if you do but she just started getting jealous it's either because she sees you really like this girl or some hidden feeling even she didn't see are starting to come up.
