writes: Hi, I've been with my bf awhile now and i've noticed that his penis seems to be different sizes when erect. Its been kind of thick and about 4 or 5 inches and then other times quite long, maybe 2 inches longer then that. I know that some guys add a lot of length from normal to being erect and some dont but can they actually be different sizes all when erect. So my question is, is this common and what causes it? So sex after a very long day at work will usually be a bad idea, because it won't be that big and depending on how active he is in the bed room he could go down on you! Thats why I personaly prefer sex in the morning after a good nights sleep.

 It's to do with the phases of the moon. You should chart your boyfriends penis size versus whether its a full moon, a new moon, or something in between. You'll soon find out what his pattern is, some men are bigger with a full moon, and some with a crescent moon. If it gets extra-hairy around a full moon then maybe he has a were-penis!
Actually, its just to do with how much blood is down there... which is mostly to do with how turned on he is, but will also be effected by tiredness, stress, and how much alcohol he's had to drink

 Well I think this can be quite common. Ive noticed this before, sometimes a man wont be as aroused as he has been before, or something makes him even more aroused another time and the penis is bigger. if for instance he has already masterbated that day, it may be that his erection will be slightly less the next one he gets. Sometimes its just is harder! It depends on whats happening, how he feels. Sometimes he may be not be as hard as before or as long, just depends, doesnt mean hes not turned on by you its just one of those things. Sometimes it might be that hes not had a release for a couple of days and the penis is then harder longer.. i have noticed that my mans can vary a bit, although more over its actually harder rather than longer, but i think sometimes because it is so hard it can actually bigger! Dont think anything in particular causes this, just how he feels at the time, how tired he is and how turned on or how rampant he might be at that time.
