A male reader, Moviefan United States +, writes (17 February 2009):

Moviefan agony auntDont get me wrong not all guys are this way, but most guys who would be considered the generic male do this. I myself am a guy and don't understand many of my other guy friends impulses to have sex with any girl, anytime, anywhere and lie cheat and scheme to get there. Guys like to tell you what you want to hear, so they get what they want, which in most cases is some sort of intimate activity.

Just try to avoid guys who have a history of doing this or seem to be telling you everything you want to hear and it seems exaggerated and seems like a lie. and you should be good. I lost a girl to a guy who did this crap and i know that it didn't end well from what i hear.

Hope this helps!
