Why do my close friends always seem to like the guy I like?

Question - (28 March 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 28 March 2010)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Maybe it's my taste in guys, maybe it's a curse, I don't know. But it seems like every guy that I like one of my close friends would like him.

I've liked only a few guys since becoming a freshman, but it seems every guy I pick, one of my friends come out and say, "I like him." and I never get a chance to say anything.

I usually back off from the guy once I find out that they like him because I value friendship more. But i'm getting tired of being stepped all over and watching my close friends get what I wish I had.

How do I get over this?

Tasmanian devil agony auntYou can't really get over it, your probably good friends because you have the same taste, and i guess in men to. Why don't you just tell them first, so next time one of them can stand back.
