He went on encouraging my feelings toward her. I never got the courage to actually ask her out because I knew that I had no chance. As we had become such close friends she had confided in me that she had a thing for my best friend. I then told my friend that she had feelings for him and he assured me that he had none for her. My friend then suggested that he tell her how I felt for her. So he did. She came to me telling me that it was sweet and what-not and we never really spoke about it again. BTW, this was around March. After that happened my friend kept encouraging my feelings toward her and he tried to convince me to ask her to prom. Which I indeed tried but I beat around the bush too much. Fast Forward to May...I was talking to the girl online and she tells me that she has to tell me something, so tell her to go ahead and she proceeds to tell me that she is not dating my bestfriend. I confront him about it and all he says is that he is sorry. I was angry for a while but I got over the situation.Fast Forward once again to Present time...I am completely okay with their relationship, I have come to terms with everything. Hell I've even given them relationship advice. But the thing is that I still have feelings for the girl. Is this normal? Is it wrong? Does it make me a bad friend that I sometimes have thoughts about her even when I seen them together? What do you guys think upon the situation? And what do you think I should do?
