Now they would text me like the day after and i would tell them i have no interest in them other than being friends. is there something wrong with me doing that...? and even after i say that many of them do continue the conversations and the ones that dont doesnt really bother me. any insight or clues to know why i do that?

Maybe you do it because you find the attention flattering. How is your esteem, and self confidence when it comes to how you feel about yourself? This might be something you do to know there are guys out there who like you.

Because it's flattering and makes you feel attractive. It does make you a bit of a tease, but it IS quite flattering to feel "pursued."
