I just found out by another woman that my boyfriend of 4yrs were together during the summer time and I just found a text message on his phone that he had sent her 3weeks ago..a nude pic of himself..he denied it at first but after I found out everything he stated that we were having problems during that time..this isn't the first it's the 3rd time..been thru physical abuse u name it. Why am I feeling bad when I hear his voice mail messages on my phone..I know I can do better especially cuz I have 2boys..is it normal for someone to feel bad being that its a new breakup..

TasteofIndia agony auntIt's completely normal to feel sad when you hear his voice. After all, you're still mourning the breakup. But, you need to delete those messages, I wouldn't even bother listening to them. Just delete them. You did the right thing by throwing him out of your life - he's completely toxic to your and your boys. So, yes, it's okay to be sad, but don't forget what you've been through and why you're not together. Turn that sadness into disgust when you hear his voice.
