Never apologize. She is creating drama for drama's sake. Act like it didn't happen, and tease her if she brings it up. Next time you see her, walk up and start talking as if nothing happened.

This usually happens when the relationship, friendship or more, isn't very strong. If I meet someone and within the first moments they do something I don't like I don't see the point in giving them a chance. It is a natural way to avoid taking the chance in investing time into someone who you won't be compatible with.
If you only talked to her on fb then what you said may not have been that bad but it doesn't take much at this point. Now you can try making it better which would best be done in person or realize that if she was so quick to stop talking to you she may not have wanted to be friends in the first place. That being said don't take that as you shouldn't bother talking to new people but try not to take it too hard if they are not interested because you will find people who are.

Have you offered her a heartfelt apology?

Girls generally don't hate you for doing or saying one thing that annoys them, unless that one thing was a biggie.Knowing what it was you said on facebook would help us to help you.

It all depends on what you said, some things are really offensive to some people and they will think badly of you if you say them. Also, did you ever apologize for saying whatever it was that was hurtful? However, if she's holding a grudge over something silly (if the comment should clearly not have been taken in an offensive manner) and she's simply over reacting maybe she isn't worth your time.
