A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Why would a guy who seemed really into you, told you he liked you a lot, text you all the time, suddenly not reply to your text message?

Secondly after a couple of weeks you text him again, but this time he replies, with a stupid excuse as to why he did not contact you before.

What would be going on here?

aunt honesty agony auntHe might be a bit of a player who gets bored easily, it is really hard to tell, or else he may have been genuine about his reason for not texting back. I know he has told you that he likes you, but I think the best thing for you to do now is not to contact him no matter what. Allow him to be the first one to contact you, if he doesn't well then it shows he is not interested any more and I guess you will just need to accept that.
