The ones that are mean pretend to be friends will a lot of over girls but behind theirs backs they're always talking about people and I think it's stupid and annoying. Other girls that I know who are mean constantly talk about people wether they like them or not. I will admit though, I don't like someone, yes I'll probably talk about them, but unlike other girls that I know, I'm trying to work on that. And about girls being clique-ish, when I was the new girl at my school (in fourth grade, now I'm in 9th) not many if the girls would talk with me and when I tried to talk with them they would either ignore, or give a look saying "why are you talking with me?" Only about two or three other girls came up to me and started talking with me. After five years they still the same way and they normally only talk with girls who meet their "standards." Which is, shopping at the same places they shop at, listening to the same music, basically being their clone. Reply to this Question

 oh darling you dont need to worry about them im 16 and girls like that are so far up their own bum. i used to be one of them, not proud at all, darling you need to stand up for yourself, whats the worse they could do if you confronted them shout back? so what?? i say you give them a piece of your mind :)

 they are scared to be different in case the are then treated like an outcast. just be yourself - carry on working on trying not to bitch about others, be nice to all, even the ones who don't really deserve it and then you will have a clean conscience. teenage is a hard time, things will get easier although all through life there can be a certain degree of cliquishness with women, i have even seen it with old ladies! unfortunately while you are in school you have to spend your time with these annoying girls but after school you will find your own people that you like to spend time with, and can avoid the annoying/selfish/shallow ones. make friend with others who are outside of that clique, they probably feel like you do about those girls
