Why didn't he tell me he was single again?

Hey everyone,

Exactly a year ago,thru my best friend I met this guy nd honest to god for me he was the most good looking guy I'd seen till date,he was stunning and I was attracted to him,it was driving me crazy!now from what I herd this guy had a long distance girlfriend when he was first met me he told me about her,so I decided to stay away..after the initial few months,he would text me a lot,want to meet up,talk on the phone,I never really responded much I did meet him like twice!!he asked me to meet him once and I did go but met him for like 5 mins and left cuz had I stayed longer I knew I would express how I feel about him,after he left my city he confessed he really liked me and all his housemates knew how much he liked me cuz he used to keep smiling whenever I would text,he dint have the courage to ask me out cuz I would say no to him and it owuld ruin our friendship but the day he asked me to meet him he wanted to confess he liked but I left early and he couldn't tell me,my question is why didn't he ever tell me he broke up with his girlfriend,had I know this I would date him in a heartbeat!I feel if he really liked me and wanted to date me he should have made more efforts and being direct!I'm sad it dint work out now that he has left my city for good!what are you views on our situation?

I think your choice to stay away from him was the Right one While he is stunning and all that he seems to have a problem with staying faithful to his long distance girlfriend.Try and just have a happy memory of him but let him go.He may be confused about what he wants but could hurt people on the road to finding out.Look forward to a happy future and meeting new people.Best Luck Nora B.
