writes: what does she mean by this?one day before i left, she stated "i want you to shake my hand." i was going to walk out the door and refuse. however, i did not want to be rude so i just did what she told me and i shook her hand. while i shook her hand she said that it was nice having me.... etc... is it the reason why she asked me to shake her hand is because i might not be seeing her anymore or what? reader, anonymous, writes (30 June 2007): This is verified as being by the original poster of the questionwe've have almost known each other for almost a year. she taught me things and i listened attentively. i did what she asked of me. she stated i was different than other people she has already had. she also stated i know you will miss me. then i sort of responded back but mostly i was speechless, did not know what to say. she kept saying i cannot believe your leaving... seems like she does not want me to leave. something like that.when it was the last day of seeing each other, i was by the door almost on my way out, hurried she asked me to shake her hand.

You are analysing too much. Some people are in the habit of shaking hands, it's polite and the way they are brought up - that's all.Surely if she didn't want to see you again she would have said "Night then" and slammed the door pretty quickly!For goodness sake, turn on the T.V., lie on the couch and relax!!!!
