writes: my boyfriend dumped me but not because he doesnt fancy me which confused me more. i asked him if he was dumping me and said not in so many words but kind of yes, that he needed some time to be single and he doesnt want a girlfriend right now but then a week ago he was telling me that he loved me and does not want to be with anybody else so what does this mean? i asked him are you dumping me because you do not fancy me anymore and he said no. he said he still likes me , that he thinks im a great person its just hes very confused (he has a lot of home problems and self confidence issues) i have never been more confused before so we hugged and i told him to let me know if he wanted get back together and he said he would tell me. can someone help me understand this?we are still going to remain friends because we were both great friends even before he was my bf but i do not understand why he dumped me if he still fancies me? HELP

 sometimes when people go through a rough patch they need some space and this seems like what he's doing but i wouldn't wait for him for too long.but all the while just be there for him if he needs you but don't just keep waiting around for him because there's no definite certainty that you will get back togetherhope i helped :)xxxx
