writes:Hey real quick was just wondering why my ex couldnt look me in the eye..this is the summary;we dated, spent so much time together, so started arguing, we broke up about a year ago. 6 months after we broke up he was still telling people he hated mei turnt up at a house party that he was at..when i walked in, he was like arrgh..i looked at him a few times but he couldnt look me in the eye. does he still like me?people say hate is very close to love although i dont think he still goes on about hating me or calling me names but still? he waited at the top of the stairs so i could pass, and i was obvious about looking at him but he didnt look me. he asked my friend before i turned up, who was on the fone? and he said, me, and my ex said oh used to go out with that girl. he looked at me when i wasnt looking. Oh, and aparently i lost my bracelet and no one knew whose it was so he put it in his pocket! but im sure he knew.

 well he said he hated you and then you run into him at a party. i hate to say it but maybe he just didn't want to look at you because he can't stand the sight of you. either that, or he is very ashamed for talking behind your back.
i think there is a slim to none chance that his hate for you is actually love... when you love someone you don't really avoid them.
then again, he could be confused with how he feels about you.
without knowing him i couldn't really say for sure, but that's my outsider's perspective on it, i hope it helped a little! from the options i gave you might be able to narrow it down a little more.
