My guess is ,what you mean is that he had troule reaching or mantaining an erection, is it so ?
If this is the case, the reasons ccould be so many... from performance anxietey ( just nerves ) to health problems to consumng too much porn...

Um, firstly we don't know what he is actually doing that would not be considered "proper".
Two without more details we can't ascertain why this might be.
Three, you're seeing a guy who cheated on you 2 years ago, have only just started talking to him again and are having "sex" with him!
