We were studying together, but our course ended- we were never friends, but were only friendly terms.. The problem is that he doesn't use facebook very much so I have no idea when he will get my message- I left him my number and left it open to him if he wanted to contact me, and so now I'm stuck playing the waiting game.I don't mind so much if he isn't interested- I think for me, I'm more afraid that he is (I'm shy and inexperienced). So, for when he does (if he does) call, whenever that may be- can I get any suggestions about what to say? How can I figure out whether he is interested in me as a friend, or more?

This wouldn't be the guy you owe a birthday drink to, would it?

Relax. When/If he calls find a day and time and meet up and go from there.
