Why on earth should we? We men got the world pretty much as we want it. We shave, when we can be bothered, our face. You shave your entire body and wax the rest. Facial shaving is a bit of a nuisance, waxing... well you know.
If we could deal with that kind of stuff, women might expect us to do it as well. By freaking out about it, we get to avoid it. Works great!
Oh honey, all these red and black and white clothes can go together at 90 degrees right to get them clean? Oh you sure you want to do it? Fine if you insist.

Men ritually scrape the hair and a thin layer of skin off of their face, at least 3 times a week. Then they splash a potion of mostly rubbing alcohol on it. This is done mostly to conform to societial norms. Many men do complain about the necessity.
For some reason these same men expect women to do the same thing to their arm pits and legs and more. Who can make sence of it?
As much as I appreciate what women do to be attractive to us, much of it is hard to comprehend. So thank you for what you are willing to do for us guys.

And if they get freaked out by it they're probably under the age of 13 and are immature.
