I'm seeing doctors at my local heath department but they continue to tell me I'm disease free but yet I haven't concieved yet. I was told an infection can cause you not to get pregnant. What should I do?

It could be the guy you are with however if you are serious about this then you might want to spend the money to go to a fertility clinic and have them do special testing they can find out if your egg isn't letting the sperm in or if your egg isn't attaching to the wall. There can be so many problems!!

You should talk to an OBGYN or fertility clinic, not your local health department. The local health department can help with you certain things like testing for diseases or pregnancy but they cant really help you with reproductive issues.
Please see an OBGYN. Talk to them about how you have been trying to conceieve and have been unsuccessful. It could be that you are timing it wrong, maybe you have other health issues, or maybe the guy has issues. There are endless possibilities as to why you havent become pregnant, you need to talk to a professional!
Good Luck!
