Why can he not stay hard?

Tagged as: Sex<< Previous question   Next question >>
Question - (26 August 2008) 1 Answers - (Newest, 27 August 2008)
A female United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

Ok so there is this guy I have been seeing and every time we try to have sex he either can't get or stay hard. He says he can think about me and get hard, but when we see each other...nothing! He says it is his nerves and that he has never had this problem before. So my question is..is it me? It makes me feel like he is not attracted to me when this happens.

A male reader, saltwater United Kingdom +, writes (27 August 2008):

saltwater agony auntBeing nervous will make the situation worse for him...it's arguably him being so attracted to you that he gets nervous because he can't believe he is about to penetrate someone so beautiful thus losing his erection -- and yes, that is a valid reason for erection loss.

You should make him feel relaxed. You should engage in large amounts of foreplay to warm him up; don't just jump straight into full on sex.

Failing that, a trip to the GP can often cure such problems.

Good luck
