I have been going there for 3 years and have seen them throughout those 3 years, and they have never noticed me until now, which is strange to me since surely they would have seen me around? Anyway, whenever I see them they always point me out, stare at me, or get shocked to see me there ... even though I go there the same time everyday for years lol. Honestly, it is starting to creep me out, to the point where I don't want to go to the gym anymore. The group consists of 2 guys and 1 girl, the girl and guy are dating and the other guy ... I don't know. Once before, I have seen the guy and girl yell "come on - do it!", encouraging him. Maybe he likes me? It's just awkward seeing them there all the time, I try and say hi but they look so uncomfortable, avoid eye contact with me when I'm there and makes it worse when I'm feeling the same way!Help? Thanks :) Reply to this Question Share |

If the guy likes you, trust me, he would find a way to approach you and ask you out. If nothing like that happens, no, he doesn't like you that way. And they are just amusing themselves. You make the choice to ignore them and they have no power over your emotions.

Honestly?
I would ignore it and keep working out. If "spare wheel" and YCBS calls him is interested HE can approach you in a more "mature and civilized" manner.
Seems more like they are playing games, and I would quite frankly NOT want to be part of their games.
Could he be interested, maybe.. but if you have been around each other for 3 years and he hasn't even noticed you before, I'd be mindful that this is more a game than actual interest.
Why do I say games? Well, the GIRL is egging him on. IF she was interested in her friend getting to know you and he was "just" shy... she would make the effort to talk to you. Instead she eggs him on. I get.. "game" vibes.

Sounds suspiciously like the "spare wheel" fancies you and the other two are egging him on to make a move on you but he is too shy. Assuming he is of a similar age to you, this is not unusual.
In your shoes I would just smile, carry on saying hi and leave them to their childish little games until the guy grows a pair and decides to approach you. You can then decide whether you want to have anything to do with him.
