writes:My boyfriend is travelling Europe at the moment with his best friend for 7 months, he has been gone 2 months now. At first he was keeping in touch frequently, but now I have not heard for 3 weeks. I know his dad has heard from him a few days ago, as well as his sister, but me - nothing.Why am I so low down on his list of priorities? I think it is common courtesy to drop me a quick email if he has done that for his family. Do you think I should worry?

reader, anonymous, writes (20 January 2009): This is verified as being by the original poster of the questionI have emailed him 3 times since I last heard with general updates on how I have been, and I have not had the best last week to be honest with a death in the family, he must have read the email and simply not bothered! That is what hurts.
