writes:I've been talking to this guy I met online for about 2 years now. I like him so much and I am not sure why. He's not the nicest guy, for example, he refused to come see me for the longest time until I basically gave him an ultimatum. He also places blame on me when I am upset about something, instead of trying to help resolve the problem. When his friends visit him, he pretty much forgets about me. Yet he tells me that he doesn't want to date anyone else, and that he knew he wanted to be with me from the first time we started talking. My question is, why am I so attracted to this guy? I just can't understand it. I am often agitated with him as he seems to be clueless about actions that may upset me. He does go out of his way (he flies cross country) to come and visit me often. When we are together, things are great; we truly have good times together and get along well. But, there are other guys who treat me much better, yet I see this guy as my one and only.I recently tried to talk to him about how his making jokes at my expense bothers me, and that I don't feel like we are a team. His reaction was to get mad and break it off with me. He immediately said, “maybe we’re not meant for each other.” I am pretty sure that he will contact me again though, because he has done this in the past. Can anyone please shed some light as to why I am so entranced by this freak? Thanks!! :)

im afraid you have a case of you like the treat em mean keep em keen type of guy. The thrill of that bad boy keeps you interested in him. either put up with it or dont, there is little else you can do. but if your strong enough tll him to shove off if he contacts you.
