So he asked me on a date which didn't quite go to plan and he said it would be best if we just stayed friends. The thing is I feel really upset over him. I'm usually ok with being rejected but I've been really upset with him. Why am I so emotional especially as we weren't even dating and only went on one date ? Reply to this Question Share |

Deep down you must've very much wanted something more to develop between you, but as it turned out, that didn't happen. Nothing you did wrong of course, he simply wasn't feeling it! Don't worry, your emotions are completely normal and understandable. Give yourself a little while to come to terms with the disappointment, then get back to looking for someone new to date :) Good luck and take care x
