writes:I keep having vivid dreams in which I'm doing something sexual with other women, and really enjoying it! I don't understand it at all. I've never been attracted to another girl in real life. I can't possibly believe I'm repressing lesbian tendencies or something... I'm by no means homophobic, but I've never felt the desire to experiment with my sexuality. I have a boyfriend but I hardly get to see him; do you think I'm just frustrated because of that and it's coming out subconsciously in such a way? Or am I simply reading too much into the whole thing? Any advice would be much appreciated :)

 Lots of women have dreams of being with other women. Sexuality isn't a concrete thing with hard lines between straight and gay, everything exists on a continuum. I've met more girls who've fantasized about other women than have not, and most of them identify as straight. As long as it's not making you want to cheat on your boyfriend or making you frustrated with your life, I think you're reading too much into it.

No guidance, no messages, just dreams. Lots of people have dreams like this, probably all of us, but some people lie and don't want anyone to know because they are afraid of what people will think.
