We aren't doctors, so we cant tell you exactly if causing this.
However, I do know that birth control does completely mess up your normal cycle.
I have had this problem for the last 3 years (i'm 21) you may just have to accept that you arn't going to get periods like "normal".
If it's bothering you that much, go see your doctor.

I would say that it has to do with your birth control then. Sometimes the specific pill that you are taking just doesn't work well with your body anymore. It would probably be best to mention this to your doctor and see what they say. Again though it is probably nothing and will not be a permanent thing.

It could still be the birth control acting up. If it happens again you should ask your doctor. Other than that there probably isn't anything wrong and yes they will become regular in time. Also it might be a stress or change in diet thing but as of now I would say it's nothing to worry about.
Like I said you may still have a year or two before your period settles into a more regular cycle. I understand that it is probably a pain for you but it's not uncommon.

Have you recently started birth control? Also when you are young your body is still working out the hormone balance so it isn't uncommon for irregularities still in the next year or two.
