It seems no matter how hard you work, you are constantly disrespected, belittled, undermined and nit-picked over the tiniest things.I am one of those (non-agressive and non-confrontational) nice, easygoing people who easily builds rapports with others. All I've ever wanted, was to find a position where I'm treated with respect and that the extra work (I always put in) is appreciated. I'm considering a BIG career change.I want to know who of you out there are TRUELY fulfilled in your jobs. If so, what do you do? I know there's no perfect job out there, but I would love to know what the pros and cons are of what you're doing and why you are happy with your career decision.I'm a soft-natured person who loves working with people, but I feel utterly drained with the crap I have to deal with on a daily basis. I wish I knew which career I was most suited to.I'm hoping your feedback will help me make a choice. Thanks so much!

In some ways I am like you. I love everybody until they give me a reason not to. The more happy and nice I am, the harder someone tries to make me miserable, and I Love It. I love the challenge of raising above all the stuff you mention. Misery loves company, and they will try to make you just like them. If you are not, they will hate you, talk behind your back, and do all kinds of things until you join their ranks.
Miserable people say “I hate Mondays.” Truth is…no matter what day you start working on, you will hate that day anyway. So, why bother hating something you can not change? Never talk sense to a fool, they will hate you for it.
It does not matter what job you go to, it all starts with you. No matter how miserable people are around you…find the joy in your life, see the good in the few, and stay away from those who want to bring down into the world misery.
