writes:me and the guy i sit next to in my english class were arguing about this today... and i just wanted some opinions as to who was right.i was wondering if guys consider it awkward when girls ask them out, instead of the guy asking the girl out.ive always felt like if i asked a guy out, he would think i was desperate or something..what brought it up was, there's a guy that just moved in a few houses down from me, and he's GORGEOUS, and he's in my church ward, and has the most amazing personality. i talk to him almost every morning, and ive started to really like him... but i dont think he returns those feelings.rhe guy who sits next to me told me i should just ask him out.but is there a way i could find out if he likes me?

 Take a deep breath and ask him..... what do you have to lose? He might even say yes!
Be casual ask him if he fancies a coffee or something. There's nothing wrong with letting someone know you like them.
