writes: I feel really stressed out with everything thats happening in my life, and I want to be able to confide in someone but I don't know how. I have tried in the past but I end up sounding like im just being sensationalist or needing of attention. I don't want answers to my problems because I know that there are no answers, I just want someone to understand what I have to deal with, and to feel like someone cares.The problem is that I don't know how to go about getting the support that I need. reader, anonymous, writes (27 September 2008): i know exactly what you mean, i was feeling very depressed and went to see my gp and was referred to a counsellor...or if ur at uni/college then you could see the counsellor person there. failing that there are so many helplines where people can listen to you and give you advice if you need it...

There are always people you can talk to. When I was in need of an ear I talked to some of my closer friends, and they listened. Now I do the same for anybody that needs it.. I know how painful it is to just sit there and not know who to talk to, it's great just to let it out and have somebody understand what you're going through. Helps a lot.
