That's not the problem. The problem is that I know these things will come true eventually.

A lot of things in life are pretty easy to predict, particularly if its people around you. Rest assured you are not being controlled by an alien being.

Everything you dream is a mixed up product of your subconcious. You usually over do negative thoughts because we all worry about people getting hurt, sick, or dying.

If you are mid teenage you have the extra issue of so many new brain cells coming on line that you dont know what to do with.

Sorry to be a total bore but really the best thing you can do is get some school books and get serious with them and give your brain something to work on. A good diet and lots of exercise also is really good for your well being and really good sleep. I know thats even more boring than thinking you can see the future!!

See that's the problem. about 95 percent of my dreams or visions I can't root for five percent haven't came through yet. and I highly doubt that these dreams and visions are fake. out of the 5 percent that haven't came true stripper some of them were bad. and the other two percent were about weird things happening. some people think that these dreams and visions are sign from God I think I hurt deeper tonight for some reason. I just really need to know the answer to this question I don't need to someone to say yeah they're fake you a word don't forget I'll go to a counselor I just need to know is there anything else out there like me?

A female reader, anonymous, writes (1 May 2013):

I used to have that. I would have dreams of completely banal things and they would come true exactly like it had happened in my dream. I went to a therapist cause I was freaked out and she reassured me that I wasnt going crazy and that its just one of those unexplainable mysteries. She felt I was just very intuitive.

Now I dont know if your "visions" are of the same sort as mine. Mine were dreams, not visions. Do you have any other symptoms? I think you should get an evaluation with a therapist. Most likely its something trivial and at least a trained professional can put your concerns about it to rest, which helps tremendously. And may even be what you need to hear in order to put your mind to rest.

Yep, go see a therapist. Trust me, you'll thank me later. Good luck.

Hi

Visions happen for various reason's. Sometimes it can be something simple like lack of sleep,it can also be intuced by taking drugs (and I don't mean on the day)it can be a side effect that happens later. There could be a number of reasons causing this and although I would use logic as an explanation formost and go in more depth with someone who knows and understands you (parents/ guardian) Do or have you taken drugs, could this be the problem? Are you anxious about anything in particular? Are you on the box 24-7 playing violent games? Are you able to confide in your parents?

Are your visions good or bad?

Are your visions also including hearing voices?

Don't be scared, some people do see and sense things but better to check your mental health with a professional first.

First of all, don't panic or fear them.

It is just your subconscious. The mind is a very powerful thing and don't be anxious about this.

I used to have thoughts that felt like visions when I was younger, and sometimes was just brought about by anxiety. I would fear them and get more anxious and the whole thing escalated!

Have a check up with your doctor, eat healthy and get sleep.

If it's no more than your subconscious then be happy for your intuition, if it's more disturbing than that, see a mental health professional in some way to understand what's going on.

Look after yourself x

What do you mean by visions?

Are you talking about lucid dreams? Day dreams? Or are you hallucinating?

You need to go talk to your parents and a doctor OP.

Lucid dreams are the best, I used to induce them in myself so I could have a dream I was consciously aware of and able to control, so much fun.

Now I will say one thing OP, "visions" as people call things when they think they have some bullshit mystical power is just the power of the sub-conscious to read external stimuli in a way that our conscious mind can't or hasn't taken notice of.

Like I'd have what many fruitloop whackjobs call visions. One example I can clearly remember is dreaming about a girl all of a sudden, an acquaintance of mine and having romantic dreams about her out nowhere when I wasn't really all that keen about her. Well guess what after about 5 days of those she asked me out, from what I thought was out of nowhere. I thought for a moment I must be psychic or some shit, but the reality is she was throwing me a lot of signals, my friends saw it and obviously my sub-conscious saw that too.

OP our sub-conscious is an amazingly perceptive thing, I've had dreams about relatives running away or dying only for them to be diagnosed with cancer. That wasn't for some magical reason. My sub-conscious had obviously put all the signs that are imperceptive to me together and knew they were sick. You can see a lot of that behaviour in family pets too. I was diagnosed with a serious illness the beginning of last year and for a whole month before I was diagnosed my dogs had become unusually clingy to me, followed me everywhere around the house, waited outside the toilet for me and everything it was weird.

OP if you're wide awake and suddenly you start to see things that's called hallucination and that means your brain is fucked and you need to go see a doctor.

If you're having dreams about things that seem very real they're lucid dreams and they're normal.

Dreams are just your sub-conscious' way of storing memories from that day, it will also recognize and warn you of dangers or things you need to take notice of.

Like those dreams where you#re running away from something but can't escape? That's your mind telling you that you're ignoring a problem or don't see it that is not going away and you have to deal with it.

Whatever you do don't buy into any mystical bullshit about reading dreams from some magical pixie dust perspective.

My fiancée is a psychologist and has gone in depth explaining all the scientific reasons for things like this. The explanations are very basic too but people prefer to believe in magic.

Your parents, a school counselor or the school nurse are a good place to start.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but you need to remember that these visions aren't real. Don't act on them.

It's good that you're looking for help. I wish you well.
