It's in retail at the local pharmacy It's PART TIME (sorry not yelling just emphasizing.) It pays $10000 per year gross (not counting taxes) Been there for one year. Irregular hours. I have benefits (medical, dental, death) Steps away from my house. Option 2: higher pay ($3 dollars more). This is a job on loans (home, business, etc). If you get a license you get paid more MORE WORK HOURS (it's full time) Regular hours. Don't know yet about the enviornent like if the people are nice and professional but the job where I currently work, they are VERY nice. I will probably work in a cubicle, and maybe have quotas. About a fifteen minute drive give or take at least.Update: Option 2 is $29548.8 per year gross Reply to this Question Share |

Your profile indicates that you're 30-35 years of age. Unless you are already well settled with some money to back you up for a very long time, it is my view that you use your younger years to earn as much as you can, ethically, and save aggressively, and invest wisely in a house, and in an egg nest, to provide yourself with calmer and more restful years later on. That said, it is also important to take care of your health on a daily basis, for without that, there can be no happiness now or in future. If you have never tried a job like the one you describe in option 2, you should give it a try. I'm assuming that if you leave on a very good note from job 1, you could always go back to it. Keep good relations with your former colleagues/superiors for that reason. You should work as best as you can when you can. And you should try things out. Don't hold back. I'm sure you will succeed in your endeavors. All the best!

Option 2 is almost 3 times the wages.
Can you live on $10K a year?
Is option 2 with health benefits too? If so, it's a nobrainer for me, I'd pick #2.
